PS5 Game First Announced in 2017 Pops Back Up

An action game revealed all the way back in 2017 called Lost Soul Aside has finally re-emerged with a gameplay clip showcasing its fast-paced action combat and unique enemy designs. The game appears to still be early in development, so there is still no official release date, but at least fans can rest assured that Lost Soul Aside is still on the way.

Announced at PSX 2017 as a PlayStation exclusive, Lost Soul Aside is an action hack-and-slash game from China-based developer UltiZeroGames in what will be its debut title. While there is little information about its potential plot or specific mechanics, it has draw comparisons to the likes of similar action-based titles, but seems especially reminiscent of Devil May Cry in its combat and aesthetics.

The game has remained under wraps for three years since its initial gameplay reveal in 2021, but fans finally got a glimpse thanks to a showcase event from Gematsu that showed off what appears to be a tech demo or in-game training arena. Combat looks fast-paced and slightly complex, with the main character having a variety of abilities, such as the power to summon floating claws and teleport and some mechanics that are drawing parallels to Final Fantasy 16.
