Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 30 – As of this Tuesday morning (Jul. 30), coalition forces have been searching for Sun Pla, one of the two pilots on the crashed military helicopter. The body of Kheng Chhay Yuth, the other pilot, was found in the helicopter seat yesterday.
General Ith Sarath, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, who is leading the search operation, told Fresh News in an exclusive interview on Tuesday morning (Jul. 30).
General Ith Sarath said that Sun Pla might have survived the crash and walked away, but his current situation remains unknown. Kheng Chhay Yuth, however, was found dead in the helicopter seat and is believed to have died upon impact.
